1.15.09 The Flourishing, Proverbs 15

"The lives of God-loyal people flourish; a misspent life is soon bankrupt."

Proverbs 15:6

How are you investing your life? Where is your loyalty? To men or to God? Saw a great movie starring Steven Baldwin called "Cutaway." This movie challenges the psyche of a prominent skydiving team and their quest to go faster and to cutaway anything that keeps them from following their dream. As Christians, we should be prepared to cutaway that which keeps us from flourishing in his grace. In our loyalty to Christ, we are able to enter into the realm of the seemingly impossible.

"Glorious God"

Proverbs 15:33 - Fear-of-God is a school in skilled living—first you learn humility, then you experience glory.

We serve a glorious God who excells at building and molding glorious lives. Has God touched your life in so many areas, that you truly feel alive and blessed? Are you happy to be living out what he has called you to do? If not, what is holding you back? What do you see God doing for you and your family? What do you dare ask of him? "God use me" is the most dangerous prayer. Are you ready to cutaway?
